I’m finally comfortable to share the news that I’M PREGNANT- againnnn.. huhu. I’m currently 19 weeks now and about to hit the halfway mark.

I’ve been keeping this news to ourselves for quite some time. Why? Well, to tell you the truth, it came as a surprise and we were not planning for another till Eidrix is at least 3 or 4 years old. The moment I found out, I cried.. not because I was happy, but because I was sad, disappointed, frustrated… I was thinking about what my life would be like with another baby so soon.. the sleepless nights, the hardship of breastfeeding, the lifestyle that I’ll miss out on, the financial aspect.. call me selfish, but that’s exactly what I thought.. and maybe i am selfish. I wasn’t ready.. I felt like I just got some time to breath now that Eidrix is coming to 2 years old.. and now I’m gonna be back into that life…

If I could, i probably would have still kept this news a secret.. at least till i’m showing (which is probably 3rd trimester for my kind of body type) but my family members and friends kept on asking about my back problem and why haven’t i gone for an x-ray yadda yaddaa yaddaa…. till i just gave up on giving the same alasan- “I will get it checked.. soon..”.

If you didn’t know, I have a spinal disc problem, most probably a slipped disc (but can’t confirm 100% cause I can’t get an x-ray). So I’ve been here and there seeing doctors and finally succumb to seeing a chiropractor for the past 3 weeks. Can you imagine, if a normal woman who’s pregnant would already get a backache, apa lagi I yang memang ade back problem and now I can’t do anything- no medication nothing.

But now, I guess I’ve kinda accepted the fact that this baby is here and here to stay. There are still times where I’m scared of whats to come.. But I’m at a happier place now. And let’s hope it stays that way till baby is out and even after baby is out.

So ya..wish me luck guys.. pray for me and my baby kay…

Babe! From experience it is so much easier to care for 2nd baby, less stressful and cost effective too (if u haven’t thrown away everything like me)…Lol. Trust me been there done that! And think of it, Eidrix gonna have a playmate and can learn to be a big bro therefore you don’t have to do everything when younger one is like 6mths Old. Lol. Take care and enjoy pregnancy

You will pull through it! My kids age gap are also 2 years but in actual (1year and 9months apart). Don’t overthink it! I think I know what u need too! Lemme check and get back to you and I may have something for you to support your body posture and correct it now right until after birth. So take it easy and just relax! Remember u are not alone in this. I’ve been there, so can u Eidrix will love his younger sibling, over the days and months he may be like a koala because kids are very aware and they know! So it’s a good time to start telling him as a big brother what he can do to help and what to expect when baby is here and encourage him to join your on your pregnancy journey. Kiss baby goodnight (your growing belly), those moments are precious! Get a gift for him from baby and surprise him on the day baby is born. Remember to bring him in if possible when baby is born at the hospital because he is a part of the family! All in all, just take it easy and let the Universe back u up!
