It’s 2019 and all of a sudden so many of my ex-classmates are having babies! In fact, we even have a mummy WhatsApp group to share our questions and stories. And because I’m the most senior one there- the only one to have 2 kids at the moment- all my first-time-mummy friends are asking ME for a list of items to buy for their baby and advice on what’s not necessary.
So, instead of having to type out and re-think every single time someone asks me this question, I thought why not come up with this baby shopping list- so I can share with them what i think is necessary and what’s not.
So here’s a baby shopping list which I personally think are necessities, and which I think are not necessary when you are shopping for your first baby.
Few weeks ago, I was invited to the launch of Sevenfriday Space, Malaysia’s very first watch lounge concept store located in Robinsons Kuala Lumpur, Four Seasons Place.
Basically, Sevenfriday Space is an extension of the Swiss lifestyle brand Sevenfriday founded in 2012 by Daniel Niederer. For over seven years, the brand has been growing and making waves in the watchmaking industry through their “affordable luxury” timepieces that appeal to individuals who live to challenge the norm.
Who isn’t familar with the well known Japanese brand AEON? Available in numerous places across the country, it is one of the go-to places for almost everything! From clothes, to hardware, baby items, household products and so much more, it’s no wonder why it has become the favourites to many of us here in Malaysia.
As i live in Puchong, AEON Bandar Sunway was one of the most visited place for me during the weekends and it still is now. I recently visited them and was glad to know that they’ve undergone a whole lot of renovations for a new and improved shopping experience!
Of course two of the major floors that I usually visit is the Kids and the Ladies section. The layout has been enhanced alot, and it a has a much cleaner, brighter and organized feel to it.
Here are some of the changes that caught my eye at AEON Bandar Sunway:
Ever since I became a mum, Baby Fairs is a must in order to get the best deals and restock on baby essentials. But the one thing that I hate going through, is the massive crowd and the trouble of looking for parking! So when I heard about Lazada’s Big Baby Fair sale happening on the 28th of March to 1st April, I was so excited! This gives me the ease of getting everything that I need from the comfort of my home or office.

It’s spring season and I’m loving the collections I see online! I recently came across this new site called Zaful and I can’t wait to get a few things for my Bali Trip! I’ll be heading to Bali with my girlfriends in April, and ordering from sites overseas usually take a while, hence why it’s best to order now!
Wondering about the few things i’m looking at? Check them out, they’re so pretty!
I just got to have this! Pineapple prints for spring? Why not right?
Or maybe something like this and match it with a pair of short?
Or what about this cute skort romper??
I haven’t figured out what exactly I want, plus I’m kinda on a budget, so if you have any suggestions for me please do let me know in the comment section below!
A few months ago, i asked you to help me pick a tea length dress for me to purchase from Dress Lily. There were so many feedback and it was a close call but the winning dress prevailed and it is this gorgeous Floral Midi A-line Dress.
I know it was a few months ago, but i didn’t have the perfect occasion to wear it till the day i went for my husband’s Public Mutual 2018 Sales Kick off event in One World Hotel. The theme was Retro Style outfit and i guess this dress kinda suited the bill. Continue reading
Anyone else having trouble finding tea length dresses (nice ones!) here in Malaysia? I know i am… To be honest, there’s not many nice ones available in stores and if there are, it’ll probably cost you a bomb! So i’ve been doing some research and i came across a website called Dress Lily. Firstly there’s the word ‘dress’ there and secondly it has my name, so of course i was bound to look through the site.. And YES! They do have some great choices for tea length dresses plus they ship to Malaysia too!
