Being a plus size and finding a pair of pants that fits perfectly is no easy task. It might fit you around your thighs but then it’ll be loose at the waist, OR you’ll find the band around the waist too tight after eating and it’s giving you a muffin top. And what about finding the right pair of plus size skinny jeans/pants.. That’s probably worst right?

Well, about a week ago, i received a pair of pants from a Malaysian & Singapore plus size online store called Mis Claire. It’s called the Joy FlexiPants and here’s what i really think about it:

  1. No ugly camel toe.

The material is made out of stretchable and breathable cotton that hugs you in all the right places. It also doesn’t give me an ugly camel toe that some pants give you especially when it’s tight around ‘that’ area, which means.. You don’t have to wear tops that are long just to cover it!

  1. Freedom to eat as much as you want.

Imagine you just had a good plate of banana leaf rice with a whole lot of sayur, and papadom and that fried chicken! Mmm.. BUT! Don’t you wish you could just loosen up your pants just a little to let your tummy breath?! Well, you can with Joy FlexiPants! This design from Mis Claire has a hidden flexible waistband that you can easily adjust. So you get to tighten or loosen the band whenever you want.

  1. It has real and functional pockets.

I don’t know about you, but when i come across pants particularly in this type of material, they usually don’t have real functional pockets! It’s designed to look like it has pockets but they really don’t. So thumbs up to Mis Claire for incorporating real pockets in! Hehe!

Functional Pockets

  1. Suitable for multi-styles.

Because of it’s material, i find that it’s formal enough to be worn to the office and yet casual enough to wear for a casual day out. The Joy FlexiPants also comes in two types of cuts- Skinny and Straight, which i super love and they also come in a few different colour too.

Decided to roll-up the bottom of the pants for a more casual look.

I’m sure a lot of you are thinking that these look exactly like maternity pants,i guess it kinda does, but who cares right? As long as you’re comfortable, that’s all that matters… Besides, who’s gonna lift up your top and comment about what kind of pants you wear anyway right! HAHA!

As for me being 8 month pregnant, i’ll definitely be using this pants for the long run.. As my tummy shrinks after the baby comes out, i would still be able to adjust the band and wear it! Speaking about value for money right?

Let me know what you think! Would love to hear from you!
