How to naturally look taller and leaner in photos

Okay, read up Buxom babes.. I’m sure everyone would like to look slimmer and taller in photos! Now, before I learnt a few tricks on how to look taller and leaner in photos, this was basically my signature pose..

As you can see.. It wasn’t exactly the best pose. I looked like i have stubby legs, i look short, and i’m accentuating my fat thighs! So i turn to a close friend of mine- Nisa Hamdan and asked her how she ALWAYS looked like she had legs that goes on for miles! I mean check out some of her pics below:

So after getting some awesome tips from Nisa and some personal research as well, here are a few tips that helped me looked taller and leaner in photos and hopefully will help you too!

 

1.Cross one leg infront of the other, tip them toes and position them slightly further front.

Boom! I tell you! I’ve been stuck on this pose ever since. Try adding a little lean to the back and you’ll get a leaner body too!

  1. Cuff that waist

Use your hands to define your waist! Instead of them just sitting on the side, use them to cinch your waistline- no need to squeeze, just make sure your thumbs are at the side while your hand and fingers come in. Check out the difference:

  1. Adjust the camera angle

Position your camera at a slightly lower angle to appear taller- not too much though, you won’t want that double chin to show. Experiment with different angles and see which works best for you!

  1. Use your hands wisely.

Most people think that having your arms tightly close to your body, will do wonders. But it actually does the opposite! Keeping your arms slightly away from your body will ensure your upper arms won’t appear flabby. And please don’t just leave your hands awkwardly hanging on your side, place your hand on your hip to get rid of that awkwardness!

  1. Improve your posture

Notice how some some women instantly sit up straight when they see a camera? Whether it’s sitting or standing, improving your posture by keeping your back straight and pulling back your shoulders can automatically suck your stomach in, and make you look confident and inches taller!
