I recently had the opportunity to attend a Butterfly Community event themed – Coachella Unity Gathering with the dress code being boho rock chic, inspired by the actual Coachella event held in the US. Being a plus size woman does have its challenges especially in looking for the right outfit that not only fits you in all the right places, but is according to your style.
I had a hiccup myself actually when the top I bought from Cotton On still had its bloody security tag on! (Luckily i still have the receipt so i would need to go back to the store and screw them over!) I only found this out the next day- the day i was supposed to wear it, which left me no choice but to find another top to match with my boho pants which i got from Nichii.
Well i guess the look kinda worked anyways. Boho is usually pretty chill and flowy with earthy colours.. and rock is mostly black with a grundgy look, so i guess it’s kinda according to theme…
Anyway, what do you think of the whole outfit?
Would you wear something like this? Don’t be shy and do leave a comment below! I’d love to hear from you.
