If you’re not living under a rock, you would know that the Good Vibes Festival 2016 happened over the weekend. Woot Woot! I only attended the 2nd day and it was all because of Disclosure! Love them!
There are a number of reasons why i personally love going to festivals like these:
I get to dress up and show them what i’ve got!
(in this case, it’s a baby growing inside me.. LOL). Not much dressing up this time, as comfort was my first priority! I knew it was going to be long hours, and i would be sitting on the ground quite a bit so definitely had to wear the right shoes and of course pants instead skirts/dresses.
I love looking at all my babes that really make an effort to look so uniquely awesome!
Times at festivals always gives you great inspirations on styles and looks that you can try or experiment on. Check out these two gorgeous chickas!
You get to listen to all kinds of music.
There were 3 stages at Good Vibes 2016 and a whole mix of genres from EDM, R&B infused Pop, Indie Folk and lots more! You probably won’t enjoy ALL of them, depending on your taste, but hello to new experiences right? Hehe!
It’s always a fun time with friends.
The thing with festivals like these is that there are a number of activities to do. At Good Vibes 2016 there were slides, huge trampolines and a whole lot of fun games too! Plus, Topshop’s booth was awesome enough to have a charging station to charge your phones/tablets etc!
Of course, there are some setbacks too! For example, food and drinks are expensive! Them cubicle toilets are super disgusting, certain people can get super annoying and etc etc.
Nonetheless, these things are super easy to overcome! Eg. Eat before you enter the festival, bring lotsa tissues and wipes, and stay far away from those annoying individuals! No biggie! We’re all there to have a good time and enjoy some awesome music.
Overall, i would say that the Good Vibes Festival 2016 was a success bringing together music lovers alike to enjoy and have a great time. I just wishes that Disclosure played a longer set! They were of course the star of the line up, so we definitely expected a bit more from them.. Huhuhu!
